Detroit -- The UAW International Executive Board (IEB) voted on December 5 to merge the states represented by UAW Region 5 between UAW Regions 4 and 8. This merger will be effective February 28, 2020.

DETROIT - The UAW International Executive Board met Thursday and named Acting President Rory Gamble to fill the vacancy of President until the June 2022 Convention.

Detroit – The National UAW-FCA Council convened today and voted to send the proposed hourly and salary Tentative Agreements with FCA for a ratification vote of UAW members.

An estimated 300,000 to a half million workers, many of them immigrants, rallied and paraded through city centers in a general strike to demand an end to unsafe factory jobs with high death rates and little pay while corporations raked in booming profits.
