Larry Stine talked about the Fall Vet Conference.

Larry Stine went over the Vet Committee Financial Report.  Asked the committee to please push T-shirt and Calendar sales.  Larry Stine thanked Mandy Ruiz for ordering shirts for the conference.

Larry Stine reminded the committee about the Gate Collection November 15th, before and after shifts. 

Mandy Ruiz, Keith Paris and Rhonda Warren will be at the East gate.  Larry Stine, Howard Brogan and Earl Ross will be at the West gate.

A mass text will be sent out Tuesday, November 14th to remind members of the gate collection.

Discussed the Golf Outing in June.  John Bogucki is going to get us a date.  Either be on a Saturday or Sunday at Wolf Creek.  Mandy Ruiz has created the sponsorship/golf signup sheet letter.

Discussed taking donations at the Fairbury Speedway in 2024 race season.  Possibly having a shirt with UAW Local 2096/Region 4 to be combined with Fairbury Speedway.  Donating the money to Danville and Manteno Veteran Homes.

Rhonda Warren made a motion to donate $100 to each Vet Committee for their State Vet Day. 2nd by Keith Paris.  Motion passed

Rhonda Warren made a motion to donate $100 to Doc’s Website 2nd by Keith Paris.  Motion passed

Rhonda Warren made a motion to donate $200 to Dogs 2 Dog Tags 2nd by Keith Paris.  Motion passed

John Bogucki has asked each committee member to have an idea on a Veteran event or cause to support.

Next committee meeting will be held in January after the membership meeting.

Mandy Ruiz made a motion to adjourn at 2:32 p.m. 2nd John Bogucki.  Motion passed
