Welcome to Macalester’s Undergraduate Workers’ Union
MUWU-UAW is the first undergraduate workers union in Minnesota! We represent ~1,100 workers at Macalester College in a wall-to-wall union from the cafeteria to grounds workers to resident assistants and more. We started organizing in 2022, won our election in 2024 by 87%, and affiliated with UAW in 2025.
