The Mac Weekly: Macalester students unionize in landslide election

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, the Macalester Undergraduate Workers’ Union (MUWU) made history. With a vote of 406 to 61, plus 26 challenged ballots, Macalester student workers unionized, officially certifying MUWU to represent them for purposes of collective bargaining.
