Ryan Hermann

Ryan joined Chrysler’s Unit 1 in July 2012 and has been a proud member of UAW Local 1268 ever since. He began his career in Chassis (9171).

Ryan comes from a close-knit family that includes his parents, his two older sisters, Jen and Kris, and his older brother, Eric.

What the Union means to Ryan is … it is more than solidarity and bargaining power. It represents the opportunity for every worker to earn an honest day’s pay for an honest day’s work. I first became active in the union in 2016 when I joined the Election Committee, which gave me a meaningful, hands-on way to learn more about our union. Since then, I have been grateful to serve for three years as Chairperson of the Election Committee. I ran for Sergeant-at-Arms because I wanted to keep giving back, help members with more than election-related questions, and become even more involved in supporting our union.
