Shannon Nelson

My name is Shannon Nelson, and I am proud to be an active member of my union and a participant on the Women's Committee. Being involved in the committee allows me to support, encourage, and advocate for women in the workplace while helping to strengthen our union through collaboration, leadership, and service.

Throughout my time in the union, I have valued the importance of solidarity, fairness, and creating opportunities for all members to succeed. I enjoy working with others, building positive relationships, and contributing to initiatives that promote education, empowerment, and community involvement.

As a member of the Women's Committee, I appreciate the opportunity to connect with fellow union sisters, support meaningful programs, and help create a welcoming environment where every voice is heard and respected. I believe that when women support one another, we build stronger workplaces, stronger unions, and stronger communities.

Outside of my union involvement, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, learning new skills, and participating in activities that encourage personal and professional growth. I am honored to serve on the Women's Committee and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact within our union and the community we serve.
