ONAWAY, MI – In the first week of September, 176 members assembled in northern Michigan at the Walter and May Reuther UAW Family Education Center for the 2025 Contract Enforcement Boot Camp. Delegates came to this institute to sharpen their skills as grievance handlers.

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, the Macalester Undergraduate Workers’ Union (MUWU) made history. With a vote of 406 to 61, plus 26 challenged ballots, Macalester student workers unionized, officially certifying MUWU to represent them for purposes of collective bargaining.
