The members of UAW Local 1268 in Belvidere would like to let all of the Locals on strike know that we appreciate everything you are doing for us. In the past, we’ve always had to fight for ourselves and our future. To be a bargaining chip in these negotiations isn’t where we wanted to be, but most have known that we were going to be a bargaining chip since the 2019 contract.
We have faith in our UAW Leadership, National Negotiators, and the UAW membership to secure a product in Belvidere. Again, our Local, our Retirees, our families and our community appreciate the struggles and sacrifices you are going through for us.
