UAW 39th Constitution Convention guest speaker NAACP President Derrick Johnson

President Derrick Johnson, NAACP President of over 2,000 Units, was the opening speaker for the 3rd day of the constitutional convention. He talked about the seat of entitlement and how we need to be fired up and ready to go. He talked about how it's not about what side you are on but to vote for the working man. One of the great quotes that I had to write down was, "other-ism is a distraction" He followed this up later in the speech about why his wife asked him why he was yelling. He said, "This is the time to yell because some of us need to hear."
