POWER IN THE COMMUNITY, POWER AT THE POLLS.

Welcome to the UAW Local 2250 Community Action Program (CAP) page! As union members, our commitment extends beyond the workplace and into the neighborhoods where we live, work, and raise our families.

The CAP Committee is the political and legislative arm of our Local, dedicated to advancing the interests of our members and all working families in our community. We strive to educate, organize, and mobilize our membership to elect leaders who support a strong labor movement, fair economic policies, and safe communities. We are the voice for working people on issues that matter most—from job security and healthcare to education and civil rights.

Agitate. Educate. Motivate.

💪

Agitate

**Identify the Problem.** We highlight the issues impacting our members and community—from unfair legislation to job security threats—creating the urgency for action.

🛡️

Educate

**Provide the Solution.** We inform members about political candidates, legislation, and organizational strategies that can fix the problem. Knowledge empowers action.

📈

MOTIVATE

**Mobilize the Movement.** We channel the urgency (agitation) and understanding (education) into concrete action: voting, volunteering, and direct lobbying to achieve the win.
