Join Brother Donald Looney on the Campaign Trail this July

Brother Donald (Don) Looney our own local 2250 member is stepping up to run for the Missouri House of Representatives in District 63, he calls this effort The People's Campaign he needs our collective strength to build some more momentum! 

Being our CAP (community action program) Chair working hard for this local. Don doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk.  He really puts paragraph article 41 to the test. Now, it is our turn to show up for him. When one of our own union member runs we stand shoulder-to-shoulder to help him win! Thank you Don for leading by example.

Here are Three Ways to help In This July!

Wentzville 4th of July Parade

When: Saturday, July 4th at 10:00 AM (Line-up and meetup start at 8:00 AM)

Where: Meet at the Wentzville Ice Arena

Details: Bring the family, walk with the campaign, and help distribute materials. Free campaign T-shirts will be provided for walkers!

Canvassing Kick-Off

When: Saturday, July 11th at 10:00 AM

Where: Meeting place in Wentzville (Specific location TBD)

Details: We are hitting the pavement to talk about the issues that impact working families. Training will be provided if you are new to knocking doors! 

Campaign BBQ & Fellowship

When: Sunday, July 12th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Where: Heartland Park, Pavilion 1

Details: Join Don for good food and great conversations.

To make sure his campaign has enough food at the pavilion and the right shirt for the parade, please fill out the official sign-up form as soon as possible! 

*Important Note* for Parade Walkers: If you are walking with them on the 4th of July, please make sure to specify how many T-shirts you need and your sizes (Small through XXXL) on the form so we can have your union-made campaign shirt ready for you at the ice arena.
